My Husband- The Super Awesome Health Coach!!!!

My husband Josh Davison has been coaching people with weight loss for about 8 years now and I have to say- he always gets great results for his clients! I recently realized that without really knowing it, he has been coaching me ever since we got married almost 4 years ago!! Below are pictures from the shots we took for an engagement photo. So this is me around May 2010 weighing 64kgs.

As I said without realizing it, I started living by basic health principles Josh taught me once we were married. I don’t remember changing anything drastically, I just started eating what he eats because I was now shopping for myself and a husband. It’s pretty safe to say that its common to put on weight after you get married, but it was the complete opposite for me. I began to drop weight and feel really good. I used to nap most days, but I started noticing that I would lay down for a nap and couldn’t even sleep because I wasn’t tired. I was actually a little upset by this, because I loved my nanna naps!!! J Anyway, as time went on I continued to loose weight and I got to the smallest I had been my whole adult life (about 53kg). Awesome!!!

Then I got pregnant!! So after our first baby, I was surprised how quickly I lost the baby weight and got back to my “pre- birth weight” by just living the same simple health principles and eating well. What added to my surprise, is that I lost even more weight and got down to my smallest ever- 51kg. I don’t think the number is actually that important, but I was just surprised that it was easy to change my body after pregnancy (something I didn’t think was possible)!! Below are some photos in April and July 2013 (This was less than 6 months after having a baby).

Shortly after these photos I became pregnant again, and am currently less than 2 months away from full term and still only weighing 59kg. Which again, I’m not that concerned about the number, but what did surprise me, was that I realized the other day that I’m almost full term pregnant and still weigh less than the day I got married!!! So as you can see, my husband is great at what he does!!! He has developed a 12 week wholistic weight loss program where he coaches people one on one via phone or skype through their weight loss journey and is having great success with those he is currently coaching. If you want to know more about the program or have any questions for Josh, PM me on facebook or leave a comment on the blog and we would be happy to help you out.

Davison Family Weekend

Every year the Davison family plan a long weekend getaway. This year we went a few hours down the South Coast to a place called Huskisson in Jervis Bay. We stayed in cabins on the beach, and it was a fun filled weekend. In total there were almost 30 of us there. We spent most of our time at the beach, snorkelling, swimming, BBQing, eating treats and shopping. It was an awesome weekend!

Josh actually surprised me with a night out to dinner and our long weekend started on Thursday night. He took me to a place overlooking Cronulla beach called Sealevel. I have been there once before years ago and have been craving their seafood platter ever since. Thanks hun!!

Then on Friday we drove down to Huskisson.

Sienna loved doing her exercises outside with Pa in the mornings

One morning I was doing something with Josh on the computer and I realised Sienna was really quiet.... when I turned around she had climbed herself into this tub and thought it was the BEST THING EVER!!!

On Saturday when we were at the beach I was laying on the sand talking to some of my sister-in-laws, the next second when I turned around towards the water I see Josh and Sienna on the stand up paddle board.... Josh was so excited as it was her first time on a board.... he hopes it was the first of many!!

After all that fun in the sun Sienna was exhausted! I love seeing her passed out like this...

Then on Saturday night Josh and I went to one of his friends weddings at a beautiful Winery near by. It was lovely and a nice night out catching up with some of our friends. There was a photo both so we couldn't resist.

Awesome weekend! Cant wait till next year...

Out longer than in...

Sienna is now 10 months and its hard for me to believe that she has been out longer than she was in (my belly)... We absolutely adore her and love having her in our family!!! Its such a joy watching her personality develop and getting to know her as she continues to change so quickly... Here are a few recents shots of some random events.

I bought Josh a Knights jersey for Sienna as his fathers day present. He said she can have a panthers one too and when she is older she can choose :)

We tried to get a family shot of us all wearing our Knights gear- Sienna wasn't in the mood. We tried everything to bribe her.... even her favourite sweet potato. Marley literally took more than 30 shots and we finally got one where she was at least looking!!!!

BINGO!!!

Sienna loves to start every morning with a juice (just like mummy and daddy). She honestly gets upset if your drinking one in front of her and she doesn't have one! Needless to say- Josh is super happy!

She loves Rekki and Oscar... they are the best baby sitters. They were living at our house for a few weeks and now they are gone she still looks for them every morning when we go down stairs... and she  has her own version of the word "doggies". She loves them!!!

Just love this little sleeper!! She is amazing and im so grateful she has inherited her impressive sleeping abilities from me....

Fun at the park with cousin Pacey and Aunty Lisa. This was when we were at the snow.

This is the farm where we get our organic produce. We thought we would see how much we could get for her...???

Sun baking with daddy.

This is what happens when sienna is left to do her own hair...

She loves daddys chocolate...

HAHA- I always try to catch her poo face on camera because i think its so funny!!!! Its hard to catch as it only lasts a few seconds.... but here's two pretty good ones! haha. I love it so much!!!

She has just started crawling last week and she is SO happy with herself. I love seeing her accomplish new things and to see her proud little face when she actually gets to do what she wants to do. She loves standing up on her own. She thinks she is so great! (and so do i).

Sienna's first trip to Ikea...

Sienna's second trip to Ikea :) Josh says he cant wait to see the photo of her next trip because she just gets more beautiful every time :) He is such a proud dad! Its so cute!!!

We love you Sienna Maree xxxx

Gold Coast Holiday

We joined mum and dad Davison for their annual Burleigh Beach holiday up at the Gold Coast. It was lovely and Josh loves any excuse to avoid the cold winter and head up the coast for some warmth and sunshine. Now that I have uploaded the photos, its basically just another Sienna blog.... :) I should really remember to take photos of other people too....

So she is a great road-tripper and I love leaning over the back to snap this shot. I have so many of the exact same thing only she is in different outfits. Her little thumb and finger that she sucks to sleep slides out of her mouth when she finally crashes out.

Love this goofy smile when she is enjoying bath time so much!! The container she is playing with is so blurry because she cant stop waving it around everywhere.

We got to see Matt and Jade lots which was really nice, and gave us a little glimpse of what it will be like living up there next year! WE CANT WAIT!!! Love them so much! They always look after us so well when we are up there, and we always appreciate it! And thank you Pacey for letting us stay in your beautiful room!!

Sienna's first driving lesson with dad.... You could tell she felt so proud of herself holding the steering wheel. I love how such simple things are so AWESOME to them....

Sienna LOVES pushing the pram. This will keep her entertained for EVER!!! Even though the pram is not actually moving.

Our poor little girl got sick while we were away and she lost a few kilos- (which for her is like half her body weight).... and she was so lethargic and skinny.... although my favourite part was that she was super cuddly. BUT- despite being sick and feeling pretty lousy she always loves to pretend she is eating some of daddys favourite chocolate.

Long story short... our car broke down and we got to spend the weekend at Dave and Bree Owens. Which was actually the nice part about having the car break down. They looked after us so well and Sienna especially loved her visit as she got to use all of Baby Owens BRAND NEW baby stuff!!! Lucky girl... Thanks to Dave and Bree (And Baby Owen).

This was out at the surprise birthday dinner Josh organised for me. He is such a great husband and I really appreciate all of the thoughtful things he does for me. And thank you to everyone who came for making the effort to join me for my special occasion. This is Sienna just stealing the show, like she always does :)

She LOVED the beach. She just kept walking and walking deeper into the water. It was coming up to her face and she was still walking in. I dont think she would have stopped voluntarily if it started going into her mouth :) Josh is so happy she is a water baby.... he might just get a surfing partner after all!!

Like I said- it was basically a Sienna blog, but we did have a great time up there and are so looking forward to living there permanently next year!
